Shoutout: Computers and Law
**NEW LUNCH EVENT: RFCF: “Computers and Law”** on Tuesday 12th March, 1-2pm in 3.33 WMB
Interested in learning about the impact of computers on law? Come to the RFCF’s lunchtime forum, ‘Computers and Law’, to find out how technology trends promote legal development, modern problems of regulation and administration, and possible ways for the law to move forward!
Join Bristol Postgraduate Researchers Jiabin Lai and Kit Fotheringham, who will be considering questions such as;
- How has technology changed traditional property registries? And what are the legal issues arising from this drastic change? (Jiabin Lai)
- How has AI been implemented in the public sector? And are issues such as democracy and personal liberty at risk with the emergence of AI technology in the public sector? (Kit Fotheringham)
We were deeply intrigued by Jiabin and Kit’s areas of research, and look forward to hearing from them. We hope to see you at the Forum!
