Meet the 2024-25 Committee!

Annette Lam

President

In an ever-evolving legal landscape, I believe it is essential for everyone to cultivate an understanding of emerging legal trends to stay informed on current affairs. Research for Change (RFC) serves as a vital platform dedicated to demystifying complex legal issues, particularly for students at the University of Bristol who may not have a legal background. As President, my aim is to enhance RFC’s content by diversifying its mediums and incorporating a global perspective on a broad spectrum of topics, thereby engaging a wider audience within the University community.

Yuji Masuda

Treasurer

I joined Research for Change to dive deeper into legal concepts and to get involved in engaging in legal debates. I’m passionate about investigating complex legal issues and exploring different perspectives.

Saloni Hindalkar

Secretary General

Research for Change Society, is a platform with a cause. Throughout my first and second year of law school, RFCs content was really helpful and informative. As a Secretary General I wish to be a part of the society’s growth and new milestones it is yet to achieve. I’m excited to be working for RFC this academic year!

Zoe Tang

Marketing Director

RFC is a great platform to delve into the political and humanitarian side of law -- and topics beyond that, with members coming from all backgrounds and walks of life. My job as marketing director is to increase reach and awareness about the topics we have information on, not only to shed light on misrepresented groups and situations, but also to provide support for those in need by providing an unbiased perspective for readers' individual judgment. I'm interested in medical negligence, healthcare, and the socio-economic impacts of law (i.e., how it can change social practices and circumstances).

Sandy Lee

Equality Officer

Hello, everyone! I am Sandy Lee. I will be the RFC’s equality officer and co-editor between 2024 and 2025! I started to become an associate writer last year. As being an equality officer and co-editor, I wish to find more potential writers and help others growing up from researching. Please feel free to reach out!  Thank you so much!
